About AuDHDDesign
Hi, I’m Sandra — the creator behind AuDHDDesign.
I’m a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman, a wife, a stepmother of three, and part of a busy household with five dogs. So when I talk about overwhelm, executive dysfunction, sensory overload, cleaning struggles, and real-life stuck moments, I can promise you that those are things I have dealt — and sometimes still do — with on a daily basis.
AuDHDDesign started because I was tired of feeling like I was failing at being a capable adult, even when I was doing my very best.
For years, I wondered why things that seemed simple for other people could feel so hard for me. Household chores, planning, routines, and everyday tasks often felt like they came with invisible steps I could not quite hold onto. I would either not know where to start, not know what to do next, or push myself too far and end up burned out afterwards.
When I was diagnosed later in life, it felt like the puzzle pieces finally started falling into place. It did not magically make everything easy, but it did help me and the people close to me understand things differently.
Not lazy.
Not careless.
Not failing at life.
Just a brain and nervous system that needed different kinds of support.
That is why I started making tools for myself first: printable pages, task cards, reset paths, and gentle systems that did not expect me to have perfect energy, perfect focus, or a perfectly quiet life.
AuDHDDesign grew from that.
It is a place for printable tools that meet you where you actually are — not where a planner, checklist, or productivity system thinks you should be.
Why I Created AuDHDDesign
A lot of productivity and self-care tools are made for people who can already start.
They assume you can choose the task, break it down, remember the steps, manage your energy, ignore the sensory discomfort, and keep going until the job is done.
But for many ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults, the hardest part is often not caring enough, because we do care.
It is knowing where to begin.
It is being able to see which choice deserves the most attention when your brain is already overloaded.
It is turning a vague task like “clean the kitchen,” “plan the week,” or “calm down” into something small enough to actually enter.
That is the space AuDHDDesign is built for.
My tools are designed to reduce friction, lower shame, and make the next step easier to see.
What I Make
AuDHDDesign creates printable support tools for everyday executive function, sensory overwhelm, cleaning, planning, routines, and emotional regulation.
You will find things like:
- ADHD cleaning planners and low-energy reset tools
- executive function support kits
- sensory recovery printables
- dopamine menus
- visual schedules and routine boards
- task cards for stuck days
- printable planners for adults who need flexible structure
The goal is not to build a perfect routine.
The goal is to make daily life a little easier to enter, use, and return to.
Designed for Real Capacity, Not an Ideal Self
I do not believe support tools should only work on your best days.
A tool is not very helpful if it only works when you are already focused, calm, motivated, well-rested, and able to follow ten steps in a row.
So I try to design around real capacity.
That means:
- low-energy options.
- Clear stopping points.
- Gentle wording.
- Visible structure.
- Room to skip things.
- Permission to do less.
- Support for starting again without turning it into a failure story.
Many of my products include reminders like:
- One step counts.
- Done enough counts.
- Low energy is not failure.
- A reset is not a restart.
- Your home, planner, or routine only needs to support your life today.
Personally Tested Before Publishing
I personally test my tools before publishing them.
Not just to check whether they look nice, but to see whether they feel realistic, usable, and supportive in actual low-capacity moments. Being AuDHD myself, I feel that if the tool doesn’t work for me, then I shouldn’t publish it.
If a page feels too demanding, too cluttered, too vague, or too much like another thing to fail at, I adjust it.
I want the products in this shop to feel like support — not like homework.
What AuDHDDesign Is Not
AuDHDDesign is not about ‘fixing’ anything.
It is not about becoming perfectly productive.
It is not about forcing yourself into systems that were never built for your brain.
It is not about pretending that one printable can magically solve a whole life.
These tools are not medical advice, therapy, or a replacement for professional support.
They are practical, lived-experience-based resources designed to help with everyday moments: the stuck moment, the overwhelmed moment, the low-energy day, the messy room, the transition that feels too big, the routine that needs a gentler entry point. They will never be replacement for the tools provided by a professional, but they can certainly work alongside those tools.
Use what helps.
Skip what does not.
Come back when you need another way in.
Start Where You Are
You do not need to be consistent before you are allowed to use support.
You do not need to finish the whole planner, my tools are specifically designed to go at your own pace.
You do not need to use every page, even when your mind screams at you that you’re not being productive until you fill them all.
You do not need to turn your life into a project, however strong that urge may feel.
You can start with one printable, one card, one reset, one tiny next step.
If you are looking for practical, low-shame tools for ADHD, autism, AuDHD, executive dysfunction, sensory overwhelm, or everyday stuck moments, you are in the right place.
